The Problem of Senior Veterans’ Home Maintenance
As a Marine combat veteran himself, Patrick Baja understands the challenges that many senior veterans face. One of the most significant challenges is maintaining their homes, which can be a daunting task, especially for those with disabilities or mobility issues. Many senior veterans struggle to keep up with household chores, leading to a decline in their overall quality of life. • The physical and mental strain of maintaining a home can be overwhelming, especially for those with chronic health conditions or disabilities. • Many senior veterans are forced to rely on family members or caregivers, which can be a significant burden on their loved ones.
The volunteers were able to clean the home without using a vacuum cleaner due to the pet-friendly nature of the Andersons’ home.
