Dyson’s advanced cleaning technology has been put to the test in some of the UK’s most historic estates, with Knebworth House, the Old Royal Naval College, and Stowe House all benefiting from a deep clean using the company’s innovative tools. The team at Dyson has worked closely with the cleaning teams at these sites to ensure that every surface, artefact, and even chandelier was meticulously cleaned using the company’s products. The Wash G1 wet floor cleaner, Gen5Detect cordless vacuum, and Purifier Cool PC1 were used to tackle cobwebs, delicate artefacts, and expansive floors.

  • The Wash G1 wet floor cleaner was used to clean delicate surfaces, such as stone and marble.
  • The Gen5Detect cordless vacuum was used to pick up dust and debris from cobwebs and intricate carvings.
  • The Purifier Cool PC1 was used to clean expansive floors and eliminate odours.

The cleaning process was overseen by Tim Hare, design engineer at Dyson, who stated that the team’s goal was to achieve an A-list worthy clean. “Through advanced air purification, wet floor cleaning, and powerful vacuuming, every surface, artefact, and even chandelier, has been meticulously cleaned,” Hare said. The cleaning teams at the sites, which are recognised backdrops for history-making music events and award-winning films and television productions, refreshed historic features and achieved a high level of cleanliness. Stowe House, for example, features an impressive collection of art and antiques, including works by famous artists such as Thomas Gainsborough and Thomas Lawrence. The house’s interior was meticulously cleaned to ensure that every detail was preserved.
